GNU/Linux for personal computers, a great option

GNU/#Linux was originally mainly for servers. But GNU/Linux has entered the personal computer space with many finding it a great alternative to #Windows or #Mac. Especially with all the anti-consumer crap #Microsoft has been adding into Windows. GNU/Linux has it's advantages among them are that many GNU/Linux systems are free, open source and very consumer friendly. So ads and privacy invasive anti-features are not something you will often find in GNU/Linux. Yes Windows has some advantages over GNU/Linux (mainly that programs tend to support Windows better) but GNU/Linux does do many things better then Windows such as updates. GNU/Linux updates WHILE you are still using it instead of making you wait. Many GNU/Linux systems like Linux Mint and Kubuntu are also super easy to use and have a user interface similar to Windows. And despite the rumor you DON'T need to learn the terminal at all.
