what they don't tell you about that night is it never leaves, time stays still and even if you live past it you will still be stuck in that spot in that place and with those thoughts

they don't tell you that after that time doesn't care and doesn't exist for you, you weren't meant to live past it but you did and now the future has no plans for you because this was the plan, for your time to be over

what they don't tell you about that night is that you don't heal, the scars along your wrist and your arms are always bleeding, the pills in your stomach will make you forever sick, the rope will forever choke you and leave you breathless

they don't tell you that the scars and feelings are only visible to you, your blood dripping down hall ways and on every chair you sit or bed you rest, pills still making you shake years after, the nausea still fresh in your stomach almost as if it never left, the rope will tie you down so you can't do anything but to everyone else they can't see that, they don't see the blood or the shaking or the rope

what they don't tell you about that night is that you never leave that room, that bathroom or bedroom, kitchen orliving room, whether it be yours or not, you don't leave, a ghost haunting a room unable to leave and not wanting to cause attention so it just lays on that floor, reliving every moment of a life that they never truly got
