A Brief Introduction To Fox's Far Flung Fables

So anyone that stumbles across my profile might see artwork featuring characters I have made. If you DO stumble across my art, this is a basic introduction to who these characters they are, the crazy galaxy they inhabit, and eventually, the proper series that I want to make out of these guys.

Below will be a big character sheet of the main five characters that I have focused the most on in recent times. Below THAT will be a brief overview of each character and a little snippet about their personality.

Believe it or not, this character model sheet is about a year old at this point. the only character who has changed since then is Phoebe, because I've been learning how to draw her with proper proportions and more expressions. Other than that, on with the rambling.

• Redwood "Euclid" Fox, more commonly known as simple "Fox", is a relatively simple minded and easy-going man. He is the C.E.O. of a very substantial Planetary Reconstruction business that helps the lives of billions of creatures around the galaxy. He tries to run the company as well as he can after a metaphorical and literal change of heart from previous stubborn business practices. His HQ is currently housed on the planet Terranigma, and there are no plans to change this anytime soon.

• Alex O'Hannigan is currently employee of the month for his boundless patience in keeping the computer systems at HQ, even if most of it entails helping Fox with otherwise simple computational tasks. Alex is the second tallest employee at Fox's Planetary Reconstruction, and gets a great deal of joy after Fox taunts him about his height by taunting Fox about the lack of hair on his head. He is very self-confident in anything he says, and is from the quaint nearby lake-side town of Breezebay Village. His father is the police chief of the town, and his mother is the manager of a restaurant that specializes in soda pop floats.

• The Purmites are a very large collection of insectoid-like termites that were originally natives of Marva, a small pinkish desert planet down the way from Terranigma. They all act very similarly, and seem to share a singular hivemind that has a singular goal of "doing their best". The Purmites communicate with each other and other creatures via chemical pheromones that smell like a myriad of different objects, and an individual Purmite can easily lift up to 100x their bodily weight. Purmites are seldom seen not wearing their "reconstruction gear" out of respect for their new boss, their old monarchy was much more of a hassle to deal with.

• Phoebe the Space Bee is a very well-read, hard-working baker. She is the proud owner of the Honeypot Bakery, and is very pleased that she is able to make the people in Breezebay happy with her freshly baked goods. She greatly enjoys the satisfaction of getting the precision chemistry of her baking down to a mastery, but gets incredibly unhappy even if she makes the slightest mistake in her baking. She makes all her own honey and beeswax, both of which have been observed to be useful for a wide variety of DIY home repairs. On the planet Terranigma there aren't many other giant space bee women like her, so a certain Fox has been making slow but steady efforts to help her feel not so alone in this crazy galaxy.

• The Star-Studded Space Serpent is one of a great myriad of giant space monsters that like to lurk where the stars just don't feel like shining onto. It endlessly wanders through the cosmos looking for the pure heat of planetary cores to satiate itself with. Despite a small planet being relatively easy to sneak up on and hunt, it is still capable of camouflaging itself vis an enormous bioluminescent, five pointed growth attached to the forehead via a springy tendril. If it always looks angry, that's purely because of the eyebrows.
