is caring the same thing as loving

if im a good dog, and i get a treat but beforehand i was beaten

would that still count as loving

sure i got a treat but was it worth all the pain?

if i got blocked into my own doghouse for 5 days, then got let out and given food

what would that mean

was the suffering worth it?

was all the weeping and crying worth it?

does that even mean that someone loves me?

am i even considered as someones best friend after that

do i even deserve life
