Sometimes I think about how my writing has led me to researching the most random topics. I love it because I love learning about, well, anything really but it's led me to having a rich source of random knowledge.
types of trees native to a series of random states.
funeral and burial practices in Korean culture.
 Korean superstations.
calendars from different years (2003, 1884, and more), complete with lunar cycles.
types of birds native to Washington States + bird calls.
 werewolf weaknesses.
 werewolf lore.
the history of New Orleans + present day New Orleans.
and this is just the recent searches. I love the random things I've learned because of my writing process/research, it reminds me of where I've been and what I've written before and there's never such a thing as learning too much. On that note, can you believe that my local library has NO books on the history/fashion of the Victorian era or Jack the Ripper??
