Tachygraphy

My hands are very slow, slower even when compared to my thinking speed. We've all been there, but sometimes my poor dexterity makes things harder than they need to be. I'm suspected to be slightly dyspraxic, but I've compensated pretty well when it comes to my hands cause I've been drawing for over a decade; though if you see my progress you'll be able to tell I'm dyspraxic, cause how the fuck else do you explain being an artist for over 10 years and barely decent at it?

I wanna draw and write the things in my head but they sometimes barely come formed as indications of ideas. Then if I have an image or a scene in mind I don't usually manage to put it all on paper down before my attention flees to something else.

That reminded me of the time I tried to learn tachygraphy. This thing right here.

I'ts not some arcane inscription to summon an Ancient One or something like that, it's a technique for writing fast as fuck that isn't used as much anymore. I remember a teacher showed it to me at school, but I didn't have the mental bandwidth to learn a new way of writing, so I had to give up after a month or two.

By the way, I have no idea what that image says, I can't read that shit lol

Looks really fucking cool, but it's only meant to get things written down fast to be transcribed later. From what I remember it was used by journalists and in courtrooms. Cool stuff.

Why am I telling you this? Am I gonna learn it for real this time? No, I just remembered it and wanted to share it cause I thought it was cool :3 hope you enjoyed my rambling. Have a nice day!

That's a cool share.
take all the time you need on art, don't have to be perfect, you can always be better

Thanks! I'm experimenting with my art quite a bit recently, trying to get over my pathological perfectionism tm
