Scene vs Scene core

ok so i just met someone who claims they are "scene core" and that they love scene but said millionaires and Dot dot curve is not real scene music?? and they gave me their "scene" spotify playlist and it was full of songs like "puke my guts" i have nothing agains scene core people but dont shit on the actual original music
