Is This What You'd Call A 'Punishment'?

"Find yourself a book;

One for your reading level,

Over on the shelf.

Now, set yourself here,

And don't you move from this spot!

You're in detention."

And the teacher leaves,

The silence replaces her,

Calm and forgiving,

As the wood door shuts.

With no one to bother me,

I begin to read.
