Life as a boarding school student[pretty bad]

MY DAILY LIFE:

As a student in a highly academic school, I am piled up with many work and assignments causing me to stay up very late, currently I get 5 hours - 15 minutes of sleep. When I wake up, I rest for a little more then take a bath. After taking a bath, I clean up my dorm and get ready for school. After that, I got outside and head straight to first period. Moving forward to after 3rd period, lunch time has arrived. I drink my daily dose of coffee and head to 4th period. After countless hours of knowledge being shoved up my brain, classes end. I go back to my dorm and spend the rest of my time on my laptop or playing with friends. Curfew time, I go back to my dorm and freshen up, then I start working on assignments, studying, and resting for a bit. After all that I finally sleep and the cycle repeats

THE PROS AND CONS

PROS

Since I have strict parents, it does feel more free here. I get to do anything I want and I have a lot of freedom to do what I want! I can wear anything I want in the dorm because I don't have to feel uncomfortable as the girls and boys dormitory are separated. I made many friends here and I feel more nice when independent and away from my family.

CONS

Having many pros, being a boarding school student have more cons. I find it hard to adjust to my surroundings, but I am gradually becoming better. Not having anyone to control my diet has led me to not eating proper meals. I don't feel comfortable with anybody here. It's hard to have to think about every single thing all at the exact same time. Homework piles up every single day. My school teaches my year topics that are 3 years advanced. We are given chances to compete in contests that are hard and even though I don't want to, I am still forced by parents. I do not feel truly free here as we have a lot of rules and restrictions.

CONCLUSION

Being a boarding school student totally sucks. I was given the opportunity to go to a great non-boarding school but I was still forced by my parents to go here. Somehow, I feel worse here. All of my old friends are in the same school and I am stuck here with people I never interacted with in my whole entire life before this year started.
