how do i give gifts, please advise

my class does secret santa every year and the gifts are exchanged at the end of the term.

the person i got is a boy in my class i don't know that well. we dont have many classes together and our friend groups dont really meet unless its a class activity. i know if i go up to him and try to talk to get information it will raise suspiscion( my class is REALLY SERIOUS about secret santa) and i dont want to be lazy and just give money either. here are some basic facts about him ive gathered from what i hope was discreet observation:

-he plays and likes basketball (like reeeally likes basketball always talks about his favourite team(LA Clippers) and player (Russell westbrook). i dont want to get him a jersey though cus that's what he got last year. but last year he got a jersey with his name on it so maybe i could get a Russell westbrook jersey? maybe an actual basketball, maybe basketball shoes

-elon musk fan (ew, i know but maybe i could get a biography or self help book by the guy or something. ive seen him read a self help book)

-he brings his phone to school everyday though we're not allowed to, he has a clear phonecase but the edges have turned brown. (i know its model, a basketball themed phone case or a new clear phone case perhaps?)

-he watches football, but he doesn't talk about it as much as basketball.

-he doesn't wear a belt on his uniform (all the other boys do, girls wear skirts that don't have belt hoops), maybe a belt? idk tho, belts seem too "adult gift"

-wrote the book "the 48 laws of power" on his wishlist. (i know i should probably just get him that since it obviously something he wants but i'm keeping it as a last resort incase i can't figure out anything else

the exchange is on the last day of school december 16. please help
