Random Ranting

 Why does everyone irl always ask if I’m autistic?! Like I am I was diagnosed at 6 but still is it really that obvious? I’m high functioning and I know I lack social skills but that doesn’t automatically make me autistic, and it wouldn’t bother me that much if so many people didn’t use it as an insult. Even when people are insulting me I don’t realize it half the time so I’m just not a fan of being asked the question due to it being hard to realize the intentions behind it. 

Even my mom told me I’m obviously autistic when I mentioned how a friend said I act autistic! Like how do I act autistic it’s a spectrum for a reason for what they know I could just be awkward or not taught right as a kid. 

I just don’t think it’s obvious I’m autistic and I don’t like people assuming even though it’s not supposed to be an insult especially since I do have ASD
