i did a horrible thing back in 2022 for a boy i was madly in love with. he would constantly vent about how his step dad would beat the absolute shit out of him through out his whole childhood. (which later he did the same to me because he got influenced by it, the abused become the abuser i guess) while he would vent i genuinely didn't know what do say or do for him so i did what a stupid girl would do. i showed him photos of my arms and thighs that were just dried up skin that turned brown and theyve been there for years. I showed him and told him that my own loving father beat me. Just so he felt as if he wasn’t alone. Then he told me that he was happy someone had the same life experiences as him so my dumbass kept that fake story going. Guess what, what goes around comes back around and my ex ended up abusing me. I’m the idiot. Especially because he’s a master manipulator and I let him manipulate me. Constantly.
