A week ago I saw the musical Little Shop of Horrors
I thought it was really good. The actors were especially talented and played their roles very well.
Going into it, I had no idea that it was a musical, so I was surprised when it opened with a musical number. All of the soundtrack was very entertaining though, so I don't mind. Especially the songs where the plat was singing, they were all very good.

The musical follows a flower shop assistant, Seymour, as he finds a new plant and grows it. The plant, which he names Audrey 2 (after his love interest), feeds on human blood. THe plant convinces him to start killing humans and giving them to her.
I didn't really know the plot either, except for there being a carnivorous evil plant, but it was a lot different than I expected. I hadn't expected the plant to talk lol but she does.
Anyways. It was a very good production I think, especially considering how the arts have suffered these past years. The set design was incredible, with apartment building windows that could open for actors to stick their heads through to sing, and there was a lot of detail put into it. I had a lot of fun noticing the details, especially since now I am on the props & sets crew for my school's play.
It was a very good and entertaining musical, and I recommend anyone with the chance to go watch it :33
