Far From the Madding Crowd is BORING

I can't read this book anymore!!! I get that it was revolutionary for its time when it came to portraying women but how revolutionary could it be when the main character has such an ugly name... Bathsheba!?!?!?! You telling me someone waited 9 months, took a good look at their baby, and went, "Yeah this one looks like a Bathsheba." I've started substituting her name with Beth to make it more bearable I cannot forgive the British for this one.
