Rule of Modern Warfare Chapter One: March, 2022 - The Little Prince

Once upon a time, there was a precious little boy.
His friend, the Prince of the Red Rose...

"Was always at his side. Then one day, his mommy and daddy died suddenly. And the poor little boy was sent away to a strange house."

A little boy was on a bus, reading a makeshift storybook. The only other person with him in the dimly lit cab was a man, sleeping with his head on the window. When he woke, the boy stood before him, head bowed.
"John, John...! Play with me, John! Read the story... Please read the story! What happens next?"
The boy held the hastily made storybook up to the man's face, turning the cover page to... A blank sheet. Odd.
The bus then screeched to a halt at a quiet stop near the woods. The boy then ran off the bus without as much as a goodbye.
"Wait- Please, I- Where are you going?!" John ran off the bus after the boy, watching as the child ran down a path into the shadows of the woods. Then the bus began driving away, leaving John all alone in the night...

Suddenly, the boy was all alone...
... And so, the story begins.
A mysterious,
unthinkable,
filthy tale.

However, the young boy, Price, had no choice but to

surrender to the unsettling

predicament.

Oh,

what an unlucky boy...

As the boy approached

the sign, he heard

a dog's bark.

It sounded strangely

familiar to him, and

beckoned him to come...

Price began up the path the boy ran on, following the sound of the dog's barks and whines. After around 6 minutes, he stumbled upon a large, seemingly abandoned mansion.

...Following the boy
up the road,
he came upon a huge,
old mansion.

For some reason,
this place seems familiar
to the unlucky boy...

Price slowly crept up to the gate, stumbling upon a horrifying sight. Smack, thud! Smack, thud! Smack, thud!

Children with bags over
their heads are beating
something with a stick...

The unlucky boy was
frightened and backed
away from the gate...

He then started walking along the walls, looking for another way inside the gate... As he did so, he heard other children giggling, whispering, and shushing each other.
Then, he stumbled across another gate, and slowly opened it. Once Price stepped inside the confines of the gate, he saw a makeshift grave and a shovel next to it.
As Price began digging, four teens surrounded him. They all had bags over their heads, obscuring their identities.
After a little while, the grave was unearthed and the makeshift coffin was opened... And inside was the sack that Price had seen the two children beating earlier. Then, Price sat on the ground and one of the children spoke. He appeared to be the ringleader. He spoke in a British accent...
"Just look at you. You're filthy!" After he spoke, the children began pouring water onto Price's head, giggling all the while.
Then, they shoved Price into the coffin, closing the lid. Price began to cry out to the children to free him, but his pleas fell on deaf ears. He then felt the coffin get lifted into the air and carried off to... Somewhere.
The last thing Price heard before blacking out was...

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust...
