R.I.P. Omegle (2009-2023). The place where younger me met a friend. ...And would see multiple freaks jerking off. Oh well, such is the internet, I suppose... Disgusting freaks everywhere. But I'll miss the site. It was a cool concept. ChatRoulette just isn't the same, because I believe they don't have a text-only or question-asking feature. Truly the end of an era.

when I read this morning I thought it was fake but then I checked... I'm sorry they decided to close it but I also understand the reasons. Too bad there are people who always have to ruin everything. :/
I also have often found people with bad intentions but sometimes I had a chat that really lifted my mood. but I guess that's how things have to go... now we will only have memories there.
Yeah, it's especially sad because the creator of Omegle didn't really wanted to take Omegle down, but he just couldn't take the stress and commitment anymore. Really unfortunate way for the site to go down. Although I suppose it is better than if something really bad had happened that caused it to close, so in that way it's at least somewhat positive? Could've been worse, at least.
