holy cow! finally, a decent discover weekly. the past two or three weeks have been so ass. i liked maybe two songs in those three weeks. i actually don't remember if this is supposed to be dw #9 or 10. i'm just gonna go with 9 ok

junksreek - dream: indie/slowcore-ish. sad chill song or whatever. 6/10

neil perry - fading away like the rest of them: emo skramz. band from the early 2000s. underrated af. 9/10

clay birds - hush: skramz. i like the crunchy guitars on this alongside the vocals. 8/10

enola - blue waves: heavy shoegaze. very gazey. 7.5/10

oolong - roxies and cigarretes: emo. love me a good emo band. 7.5/10

to be gentle - that which is safe: screamo. 7/10

secret shine - into the ether: shoegaze. why isn't this band mentioned whenever people talk about early shoegaze? this sounds close to what mbv would have made. 8/10

cosmopaark - mr. bigyellowsun: indie. when the chorus hits, it sounds like being caught in a whirlpool. not really but whatever. 7/10

money - slower hell: heavy shoegaze. planet earth is about to be recycled. 7.5/10

fortaliax - mindtrap: ambient. calming banger. 7/10

hello mary - sink in: indie rock. this is actually a banger. this is the one song you should listen to on this list. everyone can like this one. 8.5/10
