It was really really fun, it's probably one of the best video game movie adaptions out there even if it isn't 101% accurate to the games lore, which I don't mind.
Watching it in theaters with other FNAF fans (including my best friend) was great! It truly felt like a movie made for fans of the games while still being its own thing. Admittedly though it wasn't all that scary, I got startled like twice throughout the whole thing, it was however really funny at times and very well made, I enjoyed the direction they took, honestly if they went for more straightforward horror it might've been less enjoyable, maybe a little bit more gore would've been nice? But I understand the PG-13 rating since FNAF is mainly for kids and teens and always has been.
If I had to give it a rating it would be a 7.9 or 8/10 but honestly a 7 makes it sound worse than it is since it's still a overall fun movie that most people would enjoy.
Also I met my best friend that I've known for years IRL for the first time and that was also a fun experience.

I loved the movie as well! Everything was so interesting and cool and fun for me as a big fan and kinda theorist. I actually kinda like how it went a little different from the games, makes it very intriguing. I'm super intrigued for a sequel!

Agreed, if it was the same universe people would move on, but now we get to theorize about it, which imo is at the core of enjoying FNAF if that makes any sense
