and today's blog post will be a lil different than a thought dump. I don't know if y'all have been watching cable T.V lately but I've been popping into my living room and switching on the screen to some preeetttyyyyy weird stuff YALL!
[Exhibit A : The Huggies "Baby Butts" Song.]
Now, after watching it I can hear some say, "oh, it's just saying their diapers are for every
kind of baby that's active!" Yes, it could be taken as innocent and playful as it's actors are.
BUT
When you view this photo, what first comes to your head?
- "Aww cute baby has escaped during changing time!'
- "Did this kid REALLY have to be that exposed, in-front of crew for this shot?"
- "At least there's a censor bar to protect him!"
Okay. So i'm sure there will be conflicting opinions on this topic. One possibility i find would be present is why am I $exualizing these poor babies?
First, I didn't make this commercial!
Second, this had to be sent through a board of executives of the Huggies brand to even be approved for air, ADULTS.
Thirrrrddd! This board of men and woman watched this commercial, analyzed and saw nothing wrong with this!!

Okay! So I'll now show an example of a non-exploitive commercial, made two months ago as apposed to the Huggies one that was five months prior!
[Exhibit B - Pampers UK Commercial]
Okay, so in this one it focuses more on "funny aha poop tsunami" in the middle of the night instead of so many close up angles of child booty and those poor babies in the huggies commercial look so uncomfortable.
I also believe [could be wrong] in the opening shot could possibly be a doll, judging by the lack of movement in the beginning. Although, remember i could be wrong!
As we watched, this commercial is definitely more palatable than thee other one in my own opinion. Fun fact! This commercial is only one second longer than Huggies! Which, funny enough, after i stared writing this and watching tv at the same time;

I noticed that the runtime for the commercials got shorter and shorter, thankfully i didn't have to hear that horrid song they made for it..
In my own opinion, it's just super weird how the U.S has different content then our sister locations. [FNAF REF]
Not to say that the corruption is only centralized in the states, but i feel like UK maybe doesn't expose the public to it in such a deliberate way. That's a WHOLE other thing that me myself don't know everything about those type of things going on in the background.
OVERALL, just wanted to put this out to see if anyone else noticed this type of content online and if y'all are off-put by this shit! [hopefull you are! cuz this is gross!!!]
