the fashion world needs more influence from 2000s anime

yk those shojo animes and stuff we used to watch in middle school because we had unsupervised internet access? well now that our generation is the target demographic of most fashion designers these days i think its only best if we were to make clothing that would let us live out our cringy deviantart oc dreams. i wanna see the clothes that were on nightcore backgrounds and adobe flash dressup games being more accessible to people who mostly go to malls. ik that there are clothes like that already being sold, but im tired of having to constantly see 30 year olds with pink kitten eared headsets and super cropped seifukus all over the search results when i look for anime style clothing. basically i want something that doesnt appeal to the male gaze, doesnt seggulize minors and doesnt infantalize/objectify japanese women. i want something nostalgic and fun, and i think that us gen z should look back at the old web anime we watch/came across and use it as our insperation for the fashion pieces we design.
