my life has always been erratic and filled with chaos

like a hurricane that floods the city

my life drowns me 

dragging me into a whirlpool of despair and grief

lungs being filled with water

but in the midst of my chaos,

there was you

you were there to pull me out of the water

filling my lungs with air, and my life, 

with hope and serenity
