Hey! It’s been a while but I’m finally back :)

I wanted to tell you guys about my project. I’ve been thinking of making my own brand of cosmetics focused on the alternative styles. However, I don’t have anything to start with, so I had to come up with this plan. Gathering my target audience in different social media platforms with reposted content until I get the support I need to start my project, Lilith’s Vanity.

What is Lilith’s Vanity?

As I mentioned before, for now it is just an idea: a purpose. I always thought there wasn’t much visibility on alternative makeup brands, with makeup specifically made for us. Those of us who wear long-lasting, heavy makeup on a daily basis struggle to find products that fit our needs. We already have the well-known Kat Von D (KVD), but some of us can’t afford their products. With the rise of our culture (and the sad misunderstanding of it) on tiktok, I found many new brands with this idea, but they are not as known and that means it’s still not easy to find on local stores.

In benefit of the community, with educational purposes:

My dream and purpose in life is to help. I felt left out, unwanted and uncomfortable for years until I accepted that my own style was the one I had to rock. Bullying, poverty and many other issues lead many teenagers into depressive actitudes, identity crisis and so. 

Nobody should feel left out for their own, personal identity. Neither should they feel pushed to change their style or music preferences with the false, empty promise of “fitting” in the society. We are a community. We are a world on our own.

That being said, I’m working on a blog to promote rising brands, musicians and models all over the world. The last thing I mean is to create a competence. If I reach the point of making my own brand, I want to collaborate with as many as possible: this has never been about competence. This has never been about maket. I don’t even mean to make an income out of this. 

My ultimate goal with this project is to expand our horizons. To help people all over the world, no matter their age or gender, discover themselves freely. To stop us teenagers from being bullied at school, to help our people get a honest job without discrimination. To help promote our culture as something as good as any other. 

Sounds too good to be real. But I’m willing to try and I hope to get your help and feedback.
