my life went nothing like I expected it would go when I dreamed it up as a teenager excluding my degree and career path.
I never expected to go through a global pandemic that gave me PTSD, and sure never expected to get bipolar, anxiety, and have my mild ADHD DRASTICALLY worsen.
I never expected my HS to progress to Stage 2 and give me NASTY scarring.
Never thought I would SH as bad as I have, or have scars for that matter, but still trying to overcome that now.
Never thought I wouldn't lose my virginity until 22 years old, I thought I would lose it much younger.
Never thought I would ever take prescribed psych meds, let alone stimulants, but it did end up happening. Teenage me would be DEVASTATED because she prided herself on not taking ANY drugs or pills.
Maybe I just had a really shitty hand but....yeah. my hopes and dreams about me being "normal" have pretty much died at this point.
I'm sorry for all what happened in your life, I really am. I'm not a much helpful person when it comes to this but. I really hope everything will change soon and you'll be blessed. Im sorry about the 22 years part too!

yes!! i'm 17 and just applied to collage and i'm so excited!! i feel like a lot of our generation are really stressed about growing up, but people need to realize that we have so much time to do things in our lives. the internet makes everything feel so fast, like we're running out of time, but we're not! we have years and years to explore interests, create art, and meet people!
