Regicide Or Bust!

 "You've a god that owes you everything; yet, here you are: begging for favors. Beggars can very well be choosers...if they choose to not worship losers."

     The Wizard wiggles his ropes looser; sidled by two of the King's bruisers. He's lucky the Mantis King is eating some poor victims shipped in by slavers.

     A glance at the Dog-Men brought to heel: they've clubs of steel, and miss not one meal.

     The Wizard's stomach shudders and leaps! He caught the sight of the no-wit bitch. Exophthalmos eyes, forever peeled; she'd gazed for too long in the Moon Fields...those fields, in which, shed caught the Wizard who flinches from her watery gaze; still in shock from her violation.

     A piece of his face hangs from her chin. Several others sit in her gizzard. But, she'd not come from the fight, ungrazed. The power-word DIE incantation could be his last chance at salvation.

     "There's nothing I know of your rogue priest. You emulate your associates. All I ask is that you excuse me. I can fetch your priest, unlike these jerks." His concussion has his vision blurred. He grows dizzy and teeter-totters.

     Mantis laughs; the sound, like sand on glass. "The Dog-Men claim you reek of rubies, stink of silver, and taste of...slave-turd!" The tyrant quips through bloodied slobber, from mandibles equipped for slaughter.

     'Neath the King's chuckle, vile and sudsy: screams; once a slow stream, now flood the scene.

     Now, both Dog Men stare at their captive. The stud's tightening grip sheds dried blood; its good fun when slaves try to run, especially when they've spells to cast but they've no more sense to cast them.

     Ah, but, the last laugh may not be his! The bitch seizes and falls to the red dust. The stud? Instantly blown to pieces. The fascist's exposed thorax? Nonplussed.

     More than a Wizard - a Sorcerer!

     The assassin climbs the sloped tower - a hill of crimson sand - to murder an overgrown, genocidal shit, and it's 'commit regicide', or bust!
