Why is repairing stuff so stupid

Why do companies use the most flimsy breakable plastics for clips now my screen won't go back together properly because the stupid clip made out of cheese is broken 

And they make stuff so hard to get to why do I need to remove a million things just to get at the hinges in my laptop
