hai 2 nobody, my name is roxas! :3
i just wanna say i am so sorry for being inactive, ngl i kinda forgot this website existed LOL plss talk to me!!..
anyways, today i am going to be talking about the fnaf movie!
this post obviously contains spoilers so read at your own risk.
first of all, i LOVED the movie! i understand why a lot of people wouldn't like it. from a general perspective, it's pretty mid. if i wasn't a fnaf fan, i probably would not have liked the movie. however, the fact i have been a fan since the first game came out in 2015, almost a decade ago, this movie meant a LOT to me. anyone in the fnaf fandom would know they have been asking for a movie for the absolute longest, there were tons of fanmade ones on youtube. the fact that we have an OFFICIAL fnaf movie with a budget is pretty special. watching it in on the big screen was an insanely amazing feeling and i am so glad i was able to experience it. also the amount of internet references omg!! the movie includes matpat and cory kenshin! the cory kenshin jumpscare in the credits was super funny and it actually got me XD i remember when matpat was first on screen, i couldn't even hear him say his line because everyone was going crazy lol. speaking of internet references and mat pat, he worked at a diner called sparky's. sparky was from an internet hoax when the first game came out claiming there was a sixth animatronic. this animatronic is even seen later on in the movie. if you look closely, "it's me" can be found on the mirror. i love the living tombstone music at the end, it's perfect. if you stay until the end of the credits, a voice spells out "come find me," these are just a few references i noticed, pretty cool made me kick my feet hehehehe!!!
second of all, let's talk about the fort scene. this scene is pretty controversial online, people either love it or hate it. i honestly love the scene. all the haters claiming it's corny and childish are acting like the entire movie is like that. it was just a silly little funny moment! (so the animatronics could emotionally manipulate abby, it was literally needed for the plot) also they seem to forget that the animatronics have CHILDREN stuffed in them??? obviously they're robots, but they are still children's souls who got their innocence stripped away, they haven't even seen another child in decades. i thought it was a really wholesome, light-hearted scene, moments before disaster.
third of all, let's talk about the springlock scene. like the fort scene, this scene is also pretty controversial online. i personally thought the scene could've been better. i don't necessarily hate it, and i'm not gonna complain about it, but i guess it felt a bit underwhelming. i understand william's line was rushed because his lungs were literally being stabbed and he couldn't scream, but it just felt not good enough. now that i'm thinking about it, probably because of the pg13 rating. the entire movie has almost little to no gore so it's not shocking the springlock scene felt "not good enough." obviously if it was rated r it would probably be better but i am not gonna complain, at least we even got an OFFICAL fnaf movie!!!
finally, i wanna talk about the possibility of more movies. i am definitely certain there will be another movie. william, now springtrap, had a perfect ending set up for another movie. you literally see him dying in his suit as springtrap comes alive. it does make me wonder where the setting would be. this story is obviously different from the games, so i wonder if it will be fnaf 2 or fnaf 3. i heard someone say there was 3 movies but i don't even know how they would've gotten that information. if so, i would assume the third movie would be based on sister location. i would also like to see some interesting plot twist with vanessa. i haven't played security breach but i'm pretty sure she's evil in that game. it would be interesting if vanessa suddenly turned on them or tried to be stronger than william afton or something, although i am not really sure how that would go/be set up. thank you for reading my blog post and i'd love to hear any comments or your thoughts on the fnaf movie!
