💚 nice to meet you - i'm birdie! or, you can use my other alias, arcana. i'm a 22 year old witch from the uk. i'm scottish (dad's side), irish and welsh (mum's side) by blood, but i grew up in scotland. henceforth, i say "i'm scottish!" most of the time, but you miiiight see me say "i'm irish/welsh" at times too
❤️️ my family moved to the south of england a few years ago, and i decided to do my undergraduate degree in a slightly more northern city in england. since i've now graduated, i've just stuck around! i'm dicing between moving to aus with my partner, or back up to scotland. BUT for now, i'm in england!
💚 speaking of university, i did my degree in philosophy & religion, so feel free to talk to me about these things! i don't mind questions of any kind, or prompts for discussion, or anything like that - i just like a chance to talk about these things to someone, no matter how much they know about it
❤️️ as i've already mentioned, i'm a real life witch! i grew up in a pagan household, but i started my own practice when i was 16. i grew up in a pagan area, and i remember having processions down to the harbour for samhain (halloween!). i also remember my mother testing me for ESP with Zener cards, and chewing on my mother's rune stones when i got into the bottom drawer..
💚 my practice right now is rather limited, due to my lack of time. i read tarot when i can, and i try to incorporate kitchen magic into my day whenever i can. but, right now, i mostly act as a magickal advisor to my friends. eventually, i'll be taking paid tarot readings, so stay tuned for that!!

💚 i am so so so happily taken by the nerdiest love of my life. i could ramble and ramble and ramble about him for hours, but i'll keep it short with the fact that i'm so spoiled, he does asmr for me every night (and he's super good at it!!)
❤️️ we first met 11 years ago. i liked his character design for his mascot character, she was bold, yet simple, striking, yet still easy to digest. in fact.. i liked that design so much, i styled my younger self after her a lot..
💚 since then, we mostly were friends in regard to art. i'd send him some of my designs and feel starstruck when he'd appreciate them.. but we got closer and closer, eventually, finally, we got together! i felt pretty impressed, given that i had had a crush on him for 11 years.. but, not only that, it turns out he really is as nice as he always seemed..

❤️️ a mix of my current interests are always available in my interests section, but a more full list is available here! in general, i like watching anime, reading manga, and playing games, but i've gotten a lot more into movies with my boyfriend this year, and tv shows with both him and my brother
💚 in my opnion, the interest of mine that takes the highest level of importance is my love of writing/creation. i love writing, drawing, character designing, roleplaying, anything that involes creation in this sense. i've always been an artist, even since i was little, and it's only expanded as i've learned more about the world. even now, the way i work with life is by making OCs! please feel free to talk to me about writing, art, OCs, or roleplaying, i'd love to talk about it! but please note, this isn't me asking to roleplay, it's been a while, so i'd be nervous..
