i wrote all of this about abnormality dancin girl bc autism

this is all just my perspective of the lyrics and the mv, i might've gotten the translation wrong when i talked about a line in tame's diary entry because i cant fully understand japanese(i just looked up the english translation and went with whatever seemed closest)

the way tame yearns for abnormality because she feels normality is a curse on her, and wants to be the same as nanamiya is so real. in the diary entries in the mv they go from sad to slightly happy and then to sad again. i feel like tame genuinely loved nanamiya, like in a diary entry tame says "i love you" which is obviously directed to nanamiya, as those two are the only characters shown(besides some background characters and that one dude that was talking to nanamiya, though the bg characters dont matter.)

in the diary entry she wrote "i became a butterfly" which is her "abnormality" in a way. in my eyes, she saw nanamiya's abnormality as a butterfly and wanted the same. and in some cases butterflies can mean suicide (ive heard) and it makes sense with that explanation because in the beginning of the mv tame is replaced by a flower vase on her desk, which in japan means that person had passed away. which leads me to believe tame mustve died at the end because of the flower vase on her desk.

and in the end of the mv, where tame gets more crazy, and is in that outfit that really looks like it resembles a butterfly which makes me believe that tame thought she had finally achieved abnormality, but at the end realizes its not real.

the one line "i ask myself over and over, did i get it?" is really stuck in my mind because of how much tame wants to achieve abnormality, and constantly keeps trying to get it. she wants to escape normality so badly, yet it really seems like she cant.
