★Small Summary★
A girl named Alex Rush and a group of friends see an opportunity to jumpstart their dreams of becoming successful in the field of Film, and they find themselves in Bran Castle, Romania. As things start going wrong, Alex’s priorities seem to have to turn to her and her friends surviving, rather than the film. But things aren't as they seem, and it's up to the group to figure out what has gone wrong, and if there's any way to escape.
★Overall Opinion★
The book flows nicely, and it’s not difficult to keep up with where and when things are happening. The scenes all feel realistic while still having a quality of mystery to them, and the reader is rapt with the action. It’s difficult to stop reading once you’ve started, and every time a plot twist is revealed, you're even deeper. I personally found the final reveal to be so shocking that I actually had to take a moment to put the book down and take a breather!
★Rating★
Id rate it an 8/10. Possible Spoilers! I personally wish there were more hints to the plot twist revealed at the end; I think it would have made the book flow better. I understand the point of view of the reader is to be hearing things the same way that the police officer heard them, but I think that knowing the way things were really happening, and then hearing the tale she told would have been even more engaging. It would have created a sense of suspense, knowing every single lie she told. The second hand fear of being caught lying would have the audience projecting onto the character even more and creating a sense of connection. Overall i would definitely recommend the book, and for the readers to consider how they might have acted in that situation themselves!
