Fathers are so confusing ! | rant <3

Ok so my father was going on some philosophy bullshit rant on body language and how he can tell that my grandmother is uncomfortable whenever he’s near and i can understand why she’d be uncomfortable. Cause my father would be the type to get mad at you because you went to a soirée making you cry after getting yelled at by him, the funny thing is it actually happened hahahaha thats so fun! This was not the only time he made me cry or get upset btw.

He even says that he can see that he makes me uncomfortable then has the audacity to act like he’s upset or hurt by it like hello??/ like has he ever thought of why he makes people uncomfortable??? He’s fully aware of this yet he doesn’t do anything to reflect or improve / what does he do that make people uncomfortable.

Later on he’s going to be asking why i don’t visit him or why i never call to check on how he is and thats because its his attitude and the way he treated me growing up was the reason it drove me away. He thinks that tough love is the way to go but its no longer tough love when it becomes demeaning.

I hate my father. No amount of therapy can heal me from what i had to go through as a kid. I hope none of you guys have to ever go through the same thing. I know that people have it worse and that i shouldn’t be complaining or get upset.
