yesterday i finally completed my new rentry page, i overhauled the format and gave it a new theme, even made some special graphics and stuff just for it and i wanna share it bc i'm sososo proud of it

THE RENTRY

(please don't copy it i worked really hard on it, slight inspiration is fine since we all get inspired by stuff from time to time but don't create something that looks too similar to my own stuff ^^ i made this for myself. thank you)

ok time to ramble about extremely small details 

there's a lot of purple, black, dark gothic themes, to match the character this is based on, shiori novella from hololive advent! i quite like what i did with the page name, since "shiorinovella" was taken i decided to put dashes on both sides and it looks like it's part of the design and.... not because someone yoinked the url before me. also, holoadvent is stylized as hololive English -Advent- with the dashes so it works quite well :3

the quotes at the top and bottom are quotes from shiori

on the byi/dni and interests pages i kept the header and quotes so that it looks more... seamless?? actually i dont know how to describe it but the pages feel like they're more tied together. at first i was gonna keep the info from the first page throughout *all* pages but it looked cluttered to me and idk how i could make it look good

i didn't list the interests and other stuff in bulleted lists like i had done before bc i just wanted to do something different LOL i put enough space between the items in the lists so it still looks readable even as one paragraph

the occasional red symbols look really nice i think

early on i created an extremely decorated version of the rentry which looked REALLY REALLY GOOD on my laptop but then i opened it on my phone and i realized it looked shit on smaller screens

all throughout making this rentry, i took pixels from mikejima, biscuit, caterpie, and this one discord server i'm in. the symbols are from another discord server. all of them had my back through the trials and tribulations and i'm really thankful for them fr (except for mikejima bc its ass is gonna get deleted on january and i do not forgive people who delete pixel archives..... /hj)

and for inspiration i looked at my bestie's rentry and the rentry of a friend i don't talk to anymore
