every dot com's refreshing for a journal update

a little piece on the nature of old internet style sites like this one, but one of my favorite things about this site is the lack of in your face shit like algorithms and ads and all that. the fact that you've gotta go and find your people and community, the groups and forum posts... i've got such an affection for it all. i wish more people would put them to good use. 

if you're here and you don't know what to do with yourself/interact go to the groups section and just look around/search for an interest you have, i'm sure you'll find something there <3 for instance ive found my home in the ryan ross stans group and the fob group... there are a load of dupes but some have bs rules and admins i just don't like, or are just dead... sad. 

if we really wanna revive old internet we have to bring back forums! go nuts people. show nuts. idk.
