Stupid campers are making me angry (Splatoon 3)

I am making this complaint fully aware that I am apparently in the wrong here. I play all sorts of chargers, E-Liter, Squiffer, Snipewriter, Splat Charger (even the Z+F version). And unless I am listening to outside music I often use them scoped, the reason I see myself as in the wrong here is because I play stick and every Splatoon player and their mom says stick players suck. I play stick because motion makes me sick and I have played other games that use stick controls (Overwatch and Borderlands to be specific) and have gotten pretty good at sniping in them. My issue isn't something that could probably be fixed by taking some anti motion sickness meds and sucking it up. I'm talking about shooter players that have only one strategy, no matter the skill level of the heavy weapon take it out, because one of us plays Hydra and encounters the same issues I do, someone b-lines for them and takes them out before any of our frontliners, just to make the heavy weapon player put down any strategic weapon (like the Hydra or E-Liter) and pick up a weapon where all you have to do is hold ZR and tilt the left stick up. (Shoot and forward maybe with a little sweep) It pisses me off because either this strategy is so damn common I am seeing it in every match or it's contagious because everyone else is doing it and starting a cycle. 

Like I was in a match where we were loosing, I was playing with one of my streamer friends who plays far more often than I do, and I was in the upper part of the outer edges of my spawn trying to snipe with an E-Liter unscoped and moved close to but not on the grate, I saw a Tentatek Splattershot below me, and still died to the person below me because they were bouncing to get to me instead of trying to get the stragglers of my team that were very much getting through their other 3 teammates. They ignored the threat to their lead to take me out when I had just got there and it was irritating. 

Anyway my point is please for the love of Cod find a better strategy than "no heavy weapons >:(" because it makes people who enjoy maining those weapons to either quit, making the game kinda vapid, or use shooters which makes every match feel the same.
