I STARTED HRT!!!!!!!!!!!! 10/30/2023

You guys....as of 2 days ago, ive officially started my medical transition! Ill be trying to document my progress as much as possible on here as well. To start off im taking 50 milligrams of spironolactone and 2 milligrams of estradiol, both of which im taking twice daily. Estradiol is a feminizing hormone that will help me develop the ideal secondary sex characteristics, whereas spironolactone blocks testosterone. Im not going to start seeing noticeable physical changes for quite a while however i can say that since starting hormones i feel significantly more at ease. My base state is extremely anxious, i usually mitigate this by vaping nic or smoking weed. The craziest thing though, is that since taking hormones, i dont have cravings to smoke. Im going to be fully honest, i had developed something of a dependency on weed, and when id stop smoking Id experience awful withdrawl symptoms. However, recently i ran out of both weed and nicotine and i dont have the funds to replenish, and yet...no withdrawl symptoms have occured. Ive reached a state of calm and equilibrium without the aid of marijuana for the first time in years. I simply cannot understate how big of a deal that has been. But like yeah...thats all i got so far, ill keep updating this blog as more changes occur :p
