I am trying to write a lot of things about pit vipers, and focusing on that at school. I have choir, which hell, I have to sing tomorrow in front of the whole student body, solo.. except, it's a soprano piece and I'm an alto! I also have a decent chunk of homework, but eh, I'll get to it, right?
Pit vipers have 270 species in the United States, have Vertical eyes, a head bigger than its body, and pits in between the eyes and nostrils that can detect heat. They have hollow, retractable fangs, and the venom is known to be corrosive to flesh. There are 3 subcategories of put vipers, and most give live birth.
I remember that off the top of my head! I wish I could handle and look at a pit viper, but im not ever going to be working at a zoo, nor with the qualifications to handle dangerous snakes! Still, its fun. I would love to own a snake, but I'm not the best with animals, and a bit wary, at that. Still, I am writing on these snakes! Cottonmouths do not have visible eyes from above view.
