WE DID IT!!!!!
The platforming on the moving blocks was really annoying and hard! Especially when you're getting shot at so much! We used the shoulder mounted plasma cannon to try to blow them up before we could even be aimed at at all and it worked! And then we abused the KARASAWA to try to kill the Nineballs as fast as possible and just BARELY got it!
This game was really fun even if obviously dated! You could tell how this got its own whole series with like 20 entries! This was good timing too since we actually just beat AC6's NG++ yesterday night! It's super duper neat how similar the two games are story-wise!
They're both stories about some faceless, voiceless merc ends up finding the resolve to free themselves and most others from the war that binds them by destroying (or freeing, depending on how you look at it) the foundations of it. In the first game that means Raven's Nest and Nine-ball, in AC6 that means Rubicon and the Coral itself!
Overall we had a ton of fun with this game and would definitely recommend it for those looking to try out Armored Core games or just old PSX action games in general!
Oh and here's the build we used for most of the game and particularly in the final mission ^^
Kind of a meta build but whatever the game is hard as is!
Oh and here's the emblem we made, since we spent a while on it!
We do want to play more AC games but we're not sure if that means the sequels to AC1/Master of Arena or if that's gonna be AC2!
