#001 – Ah, this takes me back. Plus: a new video.

Wow. Hello, people of MySp… err… SpaceyHey. I'll be honest, I have no clue how often I'll be using this, if at all. Humanity needs another social media platform like it needs Mark Z's Metaverse fantasy. I didn't even like MySpace the first go around, know what I mean?

But we're in Now, now, and I'm here writing this while feeling a mote of nostalgia for a simpler time when Web 2.0 was the next big thing, everyone's best friend was Tom, and Big Tech hadn't quite figured out how to make money via microtargeted advertising.

It was shot by our friend Matt Maguire over the course of an afternoon. We had no plan. Just a camera, an uncharacteristically cloudy Southern California, and a head full of dreams.
