It was just another generic slasher, the movie had lots of blood and gore, but it was kinda predictable in the kills of the monsters and actions of the campers. Basically two twins that became monsters due to a radioactive space rock that become large, somewhat weird-looking, cannibals. They were basically mindless creatures that killed to survive.

No one can change my mind on this rating.

They had me in the first half, then the second half basically forced itself into a monster x monster love comedy that rarely had some blood and gore included into it. Lost the original twin monsters and was met with a teenager from the last movie that turned into an overpowered monster. Also, the trappers and cops were absolute fucking idiots that were just put in there for 'comedic effect'. The movie lost its effect and the 'mindless creature hunting for survival' aspect, making one of the monsters feel 'bad for the humans' and 'scared to hurt anyone'.

The second movie didn't even have to be made, the first one was perfect as it was, even though it had ended in a cliffhanger.
