what is happening with my band bro

so over the weekend, i was practicing for a concert that i have in a few months when my phone went CRAZY. i looked to see what it was and it was the gc for one of my bands and a few people thought that we should disband?? so i put my phone down like “ok, if that band is breaking up i guess i’ll practice for a different one” but then the next day, 2 of the members (band leaders) were saying that we aren’t allowed to disband and that they don’t want to. (we aren’t allowed to disband bc the band was made through a program that gives us funding for band stuff and our overlords said that we can’t) so everyone was like “ok no more disbanding” so idk if this is a funny thing to happen or if it’s rlly confusing lol
