Suicide.

It seems simple enough, right? Although, it’s hardly the case. Suicide often leaves behind the people, who you believe, would be better off without you; It leaves them to grieve. It leaves them heartbroken & empty. It leaves them questioning everything they know. It makes them wonder why they weren’t enough for you to stay. 

Now trust me when I say sometimes our minds will still say that’s not enough of a reason to stay… but let me ask you… the people that YOU care about, the ones you’re leaving behind, how would you feel if they were the ones leaving this planet in that harsh way. You’d say “No, please don’t! Let’s talk about this, You’re so loved & important!” And they are! And so are you.

We may end our pain, but we pass it on to everyone else who does care. And believe me, someone, even if it’s just one person… someone cares about you. You can make it through this. I promise, it’s going to be hard. I promise, it’s going to be an absolute nightmare. I promise it’s one of the toughest things you’ll ever face! But I also promise, that you are going to, one day, look back & be able to say, “I made it! Even when I never thought I would!”, you’ll be able to take another breath & you’ll realize that you made it through your worst days. You will be able to help someone else, maybe someone you care about or maybe a complete stranger, get through their tough days. 

So if I leave you with anything, let it be, “it’s okay to not be okay, just don’t stay that way!” Also, my DMs are always open if you ever feel like you want to give up, please, talk to me/someone first. I’m going on almost 2 years free of self harm, and honestly, if I can make it, so can you!!
