A quiet meadow,
A flame that burns,
A song so solemn,
As the smoke it yearns.
To drink from its embers,
For just a moment,
For the fire it consumes,
The love that is no longer.
As it sets my spirits free,
And my fears disappear,
I shall never forget,
The burning in the meadow.
