Time Heals

Does time really heal all wounds? I am starting to think it doesn't cause no matter where I am , what i am doing, You still pop into my head and it feels like a knife going into my heart. Maybe after a while the pain slowly starts going away , but the vision of you still seems to stay , like a bad tattoo that can't go away. 

No matter how much you hurt me, I can't seem to hate you. No matter how your words cut me deep like a knife, I still want to touch you. This is my curse, this is my punishment. I want to hate you , but no matter how much I try I can't.
