Talking about Oscar Isaacs Movies/ TV shows (and rating them but im biased)

                                                   Lightning Face 

Summary: Basil Stitt, gets into an inexplicable accident and faces the outcome of it leading to insanity.

Thoughts: Exuberant short film, it's such a strange yet sad film (yes im quoting a video about lightning face shhh) it's about change and evolving. We firstly see Basil in a clean perfect shirt, smiling as if he's thinking about something and then his smile fades and just looks empty, he's making a persona for himself when he's in public view. Then when he's hit by lightning he doesn't call 911, or go to the hospital, nor any sort of medical care, he cries about it! He cries about how he's gonna be perceived in the outside world, how people will think he's some type of freak. Leading him to break up with his girlfriend, then cancels his work meetings, and so on. To mention he acknowledged how his girlfriend cheated on him and still chose to stay with her for the next year because he was obsessed with her. So we now know he's narcissist, narrow-minded, and cares deeply about his appearance. And the whole monkey thing can be seen as evolving. So, average man loses it because of a scar and what does he think is happening? He's sinking lower into society. What's the solution? De-evolve, go back to the stone ages, becoming what you are not, going down to go back up as something new.
