Opinion Piece: Hocus Pocus or Hocus Pocus 2

Dear "Life as a Teenager" viewers,

Welcome to Opinion Pice Wednesday featuring the best part of spooky season - Hocus Pocus.

I'm not sure about any of you guys, but I am a huge lover of getting cozy on the couch, lighting an apple-scented candle, and watching some spooky movies. One of those movies is Hocus Pocus. I will admit the first time I watched this movie I really didn't like it. When you grow up in a family that isn't into the Halloween look, watching a movie like Hocus Pocus is just WEIRD. But, I had a friend during middle school who was super into it and convinced me to watch it over and over again as the fall season blew its way into our town. So, now years later I still watch the movie but now I love it. 

However, last year the producers decided to make a 2nd Hocus Pocus...which is shocking. If I am being honest with you I would've been perfectly fine with not having a second movie. I think the first movie alone made such an impact in the classic Halloween movie industry that we as fans didn't exactly want it. I mean, yes, seeing an older version of Max Dennison would've been absolutely dreamy (cuz I mean what about him isn't?) but I think I was fine with the way it left off. 

Sometimes Disney is weird like that and throws in sequels to movies just randomly. Which just makes the original movie lose its unique and extraordinary meaning. So, if you cant tell from this blog entry I am team Hocus Pocus #1 all the way!! What do you guys think?
