Self-Titled - Should’ve Said No
Not much to say for this one, it’s just a banger.
Fearless - Mr. Perfectly Fine
This one is also just a banger. I especially like the bridge and the last chorus where she’s like “I’m not gonna be sad over this guy, screw him”.
Speak Now - Haunted
I love songs in minor keys. This song is powerful. I love the melody, the instrumental, the lyrics, I feel like I’m astral projecting to another universe whenever I listen to it.
Red - All Too Well (10 Minute Version)
Some people think this song is overrated. I think it’s appropriately rated, because it’s a lyrical masterpiece. Best break-up song of all time. I cry every time I listen to it.
1989 - Wonderland
Minor keys are a common theme here. I love the metaphors being used here, and the music is beautiful and unique.
Reputation - I Did Something Bad
This is my favourite Taylor song. Possibly one of my favourite songs of all time. From my favourite album of all time. It’s just an actual musical masterpiece. I love the bad girl persona she puts on here and I feel like kicking butt every time I listen to it.
Lover - The Archer
Easily the most relatable song for me. It could be my theme song. Like, she did NOT have to call me out like that. Fun fact: The beat never drops because it’s meant to represent anxiety.
Folklore - seven
This one is also so beautiful that it makes me cry. Her vocals are amazing, and do not get me started on the lyrics. So simple and yet so meaningful.
Evermore - ivy
Pretty much same deal as with seven. Makes me feel like cheating on my non-existent husband with another woman and then running off into the woods together.
Midnights - Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve
This song is also really meaningful to me for reasons I won’t get into here, but it’s also just a beautiful song. The religion metaphors in the lyrics, and of course the minor key. I hate John Mayer.
Unpopular opinion, but there are no skips in Taylor Swift’s entire discography. Not a single one. Fight me.
