I tested into level 2 for my pole classes!! :D

YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I tested at the end of my class today and the instructor said I was very good I'm so excited! I actually wasn't even intending to try today bc I still felt like I wasn't good enough but ig that's just my perfectionism cuz she said I was plenty qualified. I'm glad I can move forward cuz I was starting to get to the point where I was frequently in classes with complete beginners and I was very unengaged with how much waiting you have to do bc the instructors have to heavily explain everything but I already knew I just needed to practice. Now I'll be the total beginner at the L2 class and actually need to pay attention so it won't feel unengaging. I'm hoping in the L2 classes that there's more focus on transitions and stuff cuz I've been learning a lot of moves individually but not how to consecutively keep dancing for long periods of time by combining moves. Whenever I see the people doing open pole practice (no instructor) they always look so cool they just keep going the whole time and they're so smooth going from one move to the next. Open pole is part of my membership and I wanna be able to use that practice time but I feel like I'd look silly just doing a spin and immediately getting out of it. Eeeeeeeeeeee can't wait to schedule my first L2 class it's gonna be awesome!
