once again kinda sweaty and experiencing mild breathing pain due to doing the charleston too hard. it all comes full circle. I got several compliments on my moves :] I had to take my jacket off because the aglets from the hood drawstring kept hitting me in the eyes lol. also the bassist of the band playing is a cute butch 👁️👁️

showered, made another everything bagel sandwich with the sausage patties (this time with scrambled egg because I forgot to add the butter to the pan first after burning my hand a little threw me off), and took lovely pictures of the sunrise! fall in florida is a welcome respite, if a rather late one. I also started playing emuferal again! it's a shame that I have to find/make everything I had in fer.al from scratch, but it's fun to explore the world and customize my stuff again

fried up an egg and put it in an everything bagel sammitch with some cheese!! and I found sausage patties in the freezer that I'm excited to use next time!! I unfucked my sleep schedule and I have enough energy to shower today!! I think I'm gonna live!!!!!!!

OH AND ONE MORE THING. I'm installing ubuntu (linux) by the 14th, since that's when support ends for windows 10. between that and packing up to sell the house (and hopefully transitioning), I feel like my early 20s are really gonna be a fresh start :D

also I got a second set of earlobe piercings (synthetic opal set in implant-grade titanium) like 2 weeks before the my chemical romance concert. forgot to mention that lol. synthetic opal is so cool!! it isn't super soft and susceptible to water/drying damage like natural opal is, and it doesn't require the imperialist exploitation of miners all across the globe! I also got a therapist, from whom I learned that my last one was actually violating therapy best practices in like 5 ways at any given moment even when she wasn't trying to do conversion therapy on me. I wonder if she's telling a current patient about how I was lost to satanism like that goth ex-patient of hers she told me about back in 2020. anyway, I also went to a fun halloween/tiki-themed event with my dad and his girlfriend and went swimming for the first time in years! finally found a swimsuit that both doesn't make me dysphoric and doesn't slide off my ass and moon everybody whenever I move too fast. I also found this cute cat village simulator website called pixel cat's end that I'm looking forward to joining on october 19th when registration opens up again! I think that's about it. oh and taylor swift apparently released another album and the lyrics are so bad that even swifties are hating on her lol. I try to include as much as I can here, as if some internet archaeologist might find it, because I've been that internet archeologist on old forums and archive.org pages before. I'm considering actually going into digital archival work or library sciences, if I can find a college I like enough to spend money on and it turns out to not make me as miserable as high school did. oh that reminds me, I finally watched my first anime recently! I got the first 2 seasons of castlevania on dvd at the library. I hope showing them to my mom has convinced her that anime isn't all about boobs — it's also about lots and lots of blood. can't wait to find season 3 lol

aaaa whaddafuck I forgot to update for like months. went to see mcr in chicago with my dad (everyone we met was so nice!! shoutout to the chicago steppers and the street drummers @bossbuckets!!) and then, while I was sleeping off the trip for like a week, the us government changed the department of defense's name to the department of war and did a drone strike on a venezuelan ship on the SUSPICION of there being drugs on it (that's not even what you're supposed to do if you KNOW there are. what the fuck) and trump started threatening to sic the national guard on chicago AGAIN and then charlie kirk got shot in the neck. so there's like 1 silver lining there. but then the conservatives whipped themselves up into a frenzy trying to convince themselves that the memey catchphrases some disgruntled mormon kid etched on the casings must mean that he's transgender (and when that was disproved, he must have a trans girlfriend, then roommate, then... he listened to a musician who was openly against transphobia?). but that was all last month. halloween is in 3 weeks and I haven't even found a 3d printer to make my phantom of the paradise mask yet!! at least, through all this, the weather is finally beginning to feel autumnal now

I've also made the decision to move in with my dad once we sell the house but I just realized that I forgot to mention my parents are divorcing in the whole YEAR+ since they announced it lol. it's chill; I'm becoming friends with their respective new partners. seems like being an adult whose parents are divorcing spares you from most of the upheaval that children whose parents are divorcing experience. like there's some tension but it's not acrimonious y'know

whoa a lot has happened. it's august now, for one thing. I went to see the damned in atl, met my dad's cool girlfriend and her even cooler trans son, watched phantom of the paradise, had a lot of fun at a local film festival, watched mcr's weekly concerts on fan livestreams, got my wisdom teeth pulled, HEARD A NEW OLD SONG FROM THE PAPER KINGDOM, finally replaced my old email from when I was 11, watched alien and supiria, opened my first bank account, had a really nice afternoon doing the community puzzle at the library, and went to a party at a friend's house after not seeing them in ages. also I switched my search engine to duckduckgo and exported a zip file of my google drive to mega so now I'm well on my way to not relying directly on google for daily life :]

well. that did not go the way I expected. it appears the power of destiel has failed us. surprisingly I'm not suicidal?? I just feel a whole lot of nothing. tense nothing. it was hard to believe at first, and I'm still hoping to see mail-in ballots turn the tide, but... man, are that many people really that stupid? I hope none of my friends have killed themselves.

let it be known that oktoberfest 2024 in helen georgia was a complete wash and I wanted to kill everyone there. especially my relatives. but there was one highlight of the trip: I had an adventure involving fording a creek on the back of my grandpa's property and learning a valuable lesson that one should never cross a river unless entirely sure one can cross back. also the actual traveling part was fun

I fortuitously stumbled upon a punk show at a local place I'd barely been to before, my nonna had to euthanize her 18-year-old dachshund, I redid my old buzzcut, I went on a trip up to georgia for the shittiest oktoberfest experience in recent history, I had an adventure fording (and briefly getting stuck in) a creek that was the highlight of the whole trip, mcr played a show again, there's probably something I'm forgetting near the beginning. oh also my phone has been refusing to connect to wifi or bluetooth for the past week or two so there's that
