Overwatch 2 had a well awaited and anticipated launch with great expectations, as the first game had achieved great success over the years. However Blizzard had other plans.

As the original Overwatch game slowly died down during its last years, Blizzard announced the sequel Overwatch 2 as an excuse as for why the updates had been fewer over the years. We were promised a brand new PVE and cool features like hero upgrades. However- we were met with disappointed. As Overwatch 2 launched we didn't have the promised PVE in the game and a lot of the old features of the game were removed for absolutely no reason. As a result of all these unkept promises from Blizzard the game has now become trash. Almost every new skin in the battlepass and shop looks lazy and are also extremely overpriced. Speaking of things being overpriced- Blizzard charges a huge amount of money for the smallet things that even used to be obtainable for free in ow1.. Like why should I have to pay over 30 dollars för a legendary skin? The game itself is free to play but at this point it feels like its "pay to play". You get a feeling of missing out if you dont buy the limited battlepass every other month and the limited shop skins. Now we do get "free rewards" but they are either extremely ugly and not worth the grind OR old skins from ow1 which, in my opinion, shouldn't be achievable again. 

Also all the fun things we used to have in ow1 were permanently removed, why?

I don't know for certain but the little things like player level progression with the neat looking frames, 6v6 and lootboxes are some of the most missed features from the original game. Aswell as some of the maps were removed and will most likely never be used again. Overwatch 2 doesn't reward the player in the same way the first one did. The playerbase is disappointed time after time and Blizzard does not listen to its fanbase at all. When they did finally add some sort of PVE it had a pricetag, meaning that it's only for those who are willing to spend tons of money to the company that deserves a good game. Players are leaving, the game has overall really bad reviews and absolutely nothing is entertaining with it anymore.
