my experience w/ shadow people

it was late at night; everyone else was asleep except for me. i dont remember how old i was, but i figure it was probably sometime back in middle school.

i left my room and into the darkness that awaits outside my door. you see, i needed something from my mom. when i looked across from me, that was when i saw a shadow figure of a man standing right next to my parents' door. he was standing in an odd way, sorta of like in a squat. the figure looked absolutely opaque and solid. he had no face, he was just a dark void of an apparition. he was a shadow.

after staring at this guy for a while and gathering my courage, i finally walked over and through him. he disappeared immediately, almost like he was never there in the first place. so, i opened the door to my parents room and I was welcomed with even more darkness. i took a few steps in and there was another shadow figure standing right there by my parents' bed. this time it was a figure of a woman. she was taller than me, and her hair was to her shoulders. just like the other one, she also didn't have a face. for a shadow figure who doesnt speak and has no ability to make facial expressions, she kept glancing back at me with her arms crossed almost as if she was worried about something. i was standing behind her, almost to the side of her. again, i sort of just stood there and stared at her for a bit before walking through or around her to get to my mom's side of the bed. just like the man, the woman disappeared. it was weird af.

on a different day in the same week, i saw another shadow figure in my parents' room. this time, it was during the day. no one was in the room, but i had walked in there to look for something. the lights were off, and that shadow figure was the first thing i had seen when i walked in. the shadow looked like that of an overweight man who kind of reminded me of a butcher. he was just standing there. just like the other two, he was a solid figure who had no face. when i turned on the lights, he was gone. i turned it back off to see if he would return, but he didn't.
