(thursday 12/10) i had german class. i grabbed my notebook, pencil case, and phone, and went with my other classmates in the german classroom.
the teacher comes like 5 minutes late and says she will actually leave soon?? we talk a bit about homework and 10 minutes later she leaves. in my class, out of 31 people, only 8 (i think) do german, the rest go to the french class. because we are so few, we share the german class with some other class (that also has only 8 kids who do german).
anyways, after the teacher leaves, the other class leaves too. my classmates and i stay in the german classroom. in there we have a digital board so we started drawing. a girl said "what should i draw?" and someone replied "smurf cat." but the girl didnt know how. so, i pulled out my phone, googled smurf cat, and drew it. everyone loved it!!!!! so we started drawing together!! LOL
the next class was PE....istg pe is just so stupid like just let us play basketball or whatev in peace, it aint that hard XP, but the teacher had to make things complicated by explaining over and over the same stupid rules and he didnt even let us sit down, we had to stand up....the way he was talking was like a coach in a sports team from an american movie... well at least we played volley... for like 5 minutes....
then we had 'geography of the uk and the usa'....boringgggggggggg
and then we had english class and again, boringggggg, the teacher talks about the craziest things but we never really "deep dive" in them. today he showed us a statue of a sl@ve owner from virginia...again i thought we were gonna have a deep conversation but the topic was switched pretty fast.. to music..??? how and why
then we had music class lol. it was ok. like as long as i dont sing, everything is good
then we had......arts.......jesus christ, the art lady is insane. anyways, she asked us to paint a mystical beast using lines and dots(???). i drew fluttershy from mlp lol
the school hours were over ,, but i joined a club so i had to stay longer. together with my friend, Bianca, i joined the japanese club. i like japan and as mentioned on my profile i LOVE j-fashion and j-music and i kinda wanna visit japan one day (not in a 'omg japan is so kawaii sugoi' way T-T). plus, learning a new language is cool.
anyways, the club president was this 18-year-old super chill guy. he asked us if we know a little japanese, and bianca said she took a few classes last year and even took an exam but she failed it. most of us have only learned a bit of japanese on duolingo (me included). club president wrote a sentence in japanese on the board ("my name is _ ."). bianca explained a bit about what the sentence meant but i already knew, after all that 245 days streak on duolingo isnt there for nothing.
the "lesson" continued and the club pres asked us if we watch anime and a girl shouted NANA. haha. bianca whispered to me to "say an anime. too" after some pressuring, i said Jojo as a joke. a few people chuckled and the prez was like "hahaha,,, wait. who said that?" then he asked me what my fav part is and i said that "i like them all haha..". club pres said his fav was part two and i was like NO WAY NO ONE LIKES THAT PART OMGGGGG FINALLYYY.
after the club ended, me and bianca took the bus so we could get to the subway station. we started talking about japanese, french, and other languages. suddenly the club pres joined our conversation (he was in the back of the bus this whole time and came to us because there was a crazy drunk man next to him). club pres told us he went to japan multiple times and told us what he did, how he got in a college in japan (in kyoto i think), how cheap (and good) was the food compared to the expensive and disgusting "japanese" food we have in our country, and more.
it was a fun day
